Food safety management

Maintain a 5-star food hygiene rating with a robust food safety management system

All UK food businesses will be inspected by Environmental Health Officers to check if they are compliant with Article 14 of UK Food Law and the Food Safety Act 1990. Based on their inspection, businesses are given a food hygiene rating between zero and five stars that is shared with the public.

Food safety management services can include:

  • An audit of your premises and kitchen
  • A review of your current food safety management system, including HACCP (Hazard Analysis of Critical Control Points) principles
  • A gap analysis to identify any processes that need improvement
  • An improvement action plan outlining how to fully comply with food safety legislation giving you the best chance to secure a 5 star food hygiene rating
